Overview: When designing the FDM Bioprinter II, user safety is a consideration which is imperative. Different OSHA guidelines must be met dealing with proper guarding around a mechanical device such as the Bioprinter and limiting user contact with any hazardous material.
Heat Control Residential Window Film: Because Ultraviolet Radiation will be used to sterilize our scaffold, user contact with the radiation must be eliminated. Acrylic sheets do not block out the wavelength of light which our UV light falls within and thus a Heat Control Residential Window Film will be placed overtop of the acrylic which blocks out the harmful radiation. In addition, the Film will aid in maintenance of a physiological temperature inside the chamber. |
